We are leaving next week for our first journey on our 1983 36' Sea Ray aft cabin with twin diesels. We have electronic aids but need a chart book.
Y'all have been so so helpful on our new adventure, everything from where to slip her for a few months while going over the engines to finding us a great mobile Mechaniy IMG_1160.JPGIMG_1553.JPGIMG_1385.JPGIMG_1363.JPGIMG_1537.JPG

Waterway Guide series, On the water Chartguides by Mark & Diana Doyle, , Active Captain & Skipper Bob books, come to mind. Lots of info out there. Should be some nautical stores in New Bern, or Oriental that might have some of these, or similar, available.. Enjoy the trip

Pulled into Crisfield on Thursday. Was in Oriental 3 days before. Never thought to check on how you were coming along.

Thank you!

The Provision Company in Oriental or the West Marine in New Bern will have charts. You can get some second hand ones at the consignment store in Oriental too.

Leaving this time of year, just follow the snowbirds that are going back home! :thumb: keep the yellow triangles to the mainland side, and stay out of the bombing range in the Pamlico sound. You'll be good to go!
