2005 MS34T; I have a 12V 20A breaker (Push to reset) under the steps next to the main battery selector labeled "Stereo Memory". Anybody know what that means?
 
Do you have a car-style stereo installed? They require always-on power to keep the time and radio presets.
 
Yes, 2 ea radio/cd players, but both are powered through another breaker. Neither has an internal clock. Both appear to be OEM installs.
 
if it is the stereo memory for station presets it should be one amp at most two. if it is 20 amp it is way too big for what it is connected to.
 
That breaker is to retain the stations/settings in the factory-installed stereo(s).

..which is totally separate from the "Entertainment" breaker that 'powers' the stereo when you play it.
 
As danderer said, there are two power feeds to car radios: one for operating, and one for remembering settings. On Mainia the speakers started making random static noises, even with the Stereo breaker off. It still made noises with the main power off. Several gin and tonics later we figured out that the keep-alive circuit was wired to the bilge pump circuit.
