We just joined this forum. We're going to sit still for a while here in Panama City, FL. Anyone passing through give us a shout. We love to meet other cruisers. We have a car, so let us know if we can assist as you pass through.

Welcome to the forum! Have read some of the articles you wrote about building and operating your boat. Found the information and writing style to be very good and full of interesting bits. Tip of the hat to you!

Briney, welcome to the TF, and that's a salty-looking yacht on your profile page. Is it possible that sometimes during 2014-2015 I saw you docked off and on for several weeks at the Berkman Marina in downtown Jacksonville?

Not sure how Ted discovered your boat articles, but it sounds like they would be worth sharing.

Welcome to TF . Love your boat . Wasn't your boat featured in Woodenboat a while back ?

Where are you docked over in Panama city? We are over in niceville and head that way every now and then.

Will be passing through in a couple days. Sent you a Private Message.

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome. To answer a couple of the questions, our boat was never in WoodBoat, but is was in PassageMaker, sometime in 2013. We built it in Ft. Pierce, FL, took about 4 years to build.

Yes, two winters ago we were in Berkman Plaza in Jacksonville, after returning from the Chesapeake. The St. John's is one of our favorite haunts.

We made a couple of trips to the Bahamas since that time, then went north from Mobile to the TN river last fall, then landed back here in Panama City.

Wow! Good to see you here, a big welcome to you folks! I'll be looking forward to your posts on the forum.
Brineybug a newbie! that's rich!
