Is there a significant difference in maintenance between salt water and fresh water (Great lakes) when it comes to R&R the heat exchanger core. I just purchased a 36 island Gypsy and the previous owner is over 90+ years old. He motored up until 2 summers ago and by the condition of the boat throughout I'd say he did impeccable maintenance.
