As of a few days ago it's doable at high water. If you are entering and heading up river tow boat us advises sticking to the center of the channel. Phone is 772 286-8123.

Staying in the center won't work, need to stay close to the south side of the channel at the entrance to the river. We were there in August, draw 6'4" and we couldn't get trough until high tide favoring the south side of the channel. I would suggest having tow boat give you up to date advice when you arrive.

The info is more current than last august and came from a conversation I had with a tow BoatUS captain earlier this morning. I was looking into bringing my boat that way to pick up a rib. I decided it might be more fun to just drive the rib back on her own bottom.
