You fit these press on sheets and it keeps off marine growth.

Antifouling film I suppose does not wear out very soon. It is antifouling by it's odd surface features, not chemicals. I like that it could be put on any surface.

Well, that's what the manufacturer claims. It has yet to be proven in anything approaching wide, successful use and certainly not in the recreational boating market.

I believe subs use a stick on anti foul , that resembles a divers suit rubber.

Last I heard it contained Mercury , so its not for mere taxpayers.
 
Thord-D antifoul uses nylon microfibers.

Maybe you could glue microfiber cloth to your boat.
Here it is attached to a smaller boat.
When rubbing the surface, it looks like a towel attached to the hull?
