Personally (and professionally) I think you should sue: The weather forecaster, the paint manufacturer, the yard for hauling you, the 'broad brush' manufacturer and above all the masking tape manufacturer. I would stake my professional reputation on that. It 'must be someone else's' fault, responsibility, point of view, opinion, thought and idea.
