I am as some would call, a dreamer.* My dream is to take my family and cruise the East Coast for a long while and beyond.* I am a dreamer because I currently don't have a boat nor much experience recently (last 15 yrs).* Prior to that, I got my Bareboat certificate and did 2 bareboat charters in the Chesapeake and then crewed for a cruiser racer on the upper Chesapeake about 8 years ago.* But I digress.* What I am looking for is some current trawler owner in NJ willing to trade some time ( couple of hours) out on the water for crew help or spring boat prep help or fuel money or beers and dinner, or some combination to be negotiated later.* I need to get some experience out on a trawler/cruiser to see if the dream needs to be held onto or shelved.* I live in central NJ about an hour or so from the major marinas Toms River in the South and Sandy Hook/Highlands in the north.
