Don't know mainship but sliders usually are inserted at the top track then swung into the bottom track and lowered. There may be some rubber things in the tracks that need to be removed in order to get the window to fit. replace them after installing the window. Of course all bits of the old window must be removed.
In some cases the frame may need to be jacked apart a smidge.
