Does anyone have any advice on taking glass off to rebed or reseal them?

Mila...

Assuming the window are wood framed...

Years ago I used regular window putty when replacing the safety glass in the two front windows on the little lifeboat conversion... plan on doing the same replacement on Satori too - in the not too distant future...

Pending other advice I intend to go back with with a full and quality bedding of Dap 33 putty...

Perhaps the butyl tape would be another guaranteed seal - but not as easy as putty to work with...

If you do use putty - might want to watch a video on the backbedding and front bedding before remounting the stops to guarantee 100% fill of the void.

Also helps to have a suction cup to help hold the glass panel when directing it into place - rather than trying to get your fingers off the edge as you finish laying in the glass.
