You hopefully had no problems because your boat is fine and protected. I've seen some people who couldn't plug in. One marina, and I forget which, actually had one dock that wasn't yet converted and would send the non-compliant boats to it until they worked out their problems.

It's all a work in progress, but personally I'll feel more comfortable when all marinas and all boats are compliant and we're working toward that.
