How do I get the water tank to come loose? I got both nuts of and washers, right side comes loose but other side seems glued on. I need to change my temp sender and don't want to ruin anything on tank. Any help will be appreciated.

Mr. 1972. The tank IS probably "glued" on possibly by a gasket sealant that may have been applied in a previous change out. You might try applying little more "umph" to pull it off. You should replace the gasket in any case so don't worry about destroying the old one. Probably a good time to replace the thermostat at this time as well.

Hit it to rotate it that should break it loose

Just changed the thermostat on my FL SP135. If you can pull up from the top while jiggling the tank rather than trying to push up from the bottom you might have better luck.

I've changed the sender on mine and never removed the tank.
