Need DeFever help...53' POC 1989

Hey folks, my dream boat deal fell through and now am looking at this model DeFever. She has low hours on the 3208's and in good, not great shape. Anyone have any thoughts on this boat?
My plans are a liveaboard for a few years and then cruise PNW in summers and head south to Mexico for winter. This should do the trick. Only negative so far, no stabilizers, so guessing 40K for them for some Niad's.
Anyone with any thoughts on Defever's overall and especially this model, much appreciated. I know the DeFever's have a cult following which I love and hope to join, should this deal go through.

Adding to CP's link and to re-emphasize, the POCs are not designed or built the same (lighter weight) as DeFever's traditional displacement trawlers.
