. . .or, it would have been sailing if the wind hadn't of died. Not sure why, but the forecast was 10-15 but I got out there just as it went to 0-3 :banghead:

2 hours motoring/motorsailing/drifting with the tide hoping for wind. On the little puffs of wind that did come thru, I could faintly hear the voice of "Trawler Owners" reminding me that most sailers are motoring anyways

Also, if it isn't a sign from the universe. . .one of the Bayliner 38's I left a number with called me back while I was sitting dead in the water, tide slowly taking me to Hampton

Irony is funny sometimes, thought I would share!

Funny, that's exactly how my last day of sailing went. Except for the part about the phone call...

I watch 'sailors' around here all the time....no wind, either motoring along or drifting with the current.

The only good thing I can say about that is it's cheaper than running the diesels. But nowhere near as much fun.

Yep... three kinds of wind... not enough, too much, and perfect... and when its perfect - it is heavenly.

Hopefully perfect on your next sail.
