If an Australian guitarist named Tommy Emmanuel gives a concert in your city, go see it.* He's an amazing performer.
Few people in the US know who he is although a PBS special featuring him has given him some exposure here.
A couple of our videographers, the composer who does most of Boeing's original music, and I went to his concert last night in Seattle and it absolutely blew us away.
Technically, he is probably the best in the world.* But what impressed us the most was what we weren't expecting.* He is far more than just a technically brilliant player.* While he does several numbers in his famous "percussion/guitar" style,*most of the concert features*a wide variety of beautiful pieces of his own and others' composition.* Plus he's a very entertaining guy and relates well to his audience.
So if he comes to a venue near you, I highly recommend going.
