Just wondering about everyone's plans for Opening Day San Francisco. April 24. I understand the Blessing of the Fleet starts at 1030 in Raccoon Strait. Then I think noon for the start of the boat parade off SF shoreline. Any suggestions for best parade viewing area from the boat? Southwest of Alcatraz?

Any of the TF folks planning to be out there?

Sounds like fun. We've never attended. Currently having our fuel tanks changed out. Maybe next year.

Sounds like a definite "Maybe" Thanks for passing along.

haven't done it in decades, but have fond memories. They provide a boat at anchor with Pastor, Rabbi, and Priest on board. Yachts pass by in file and the boats get a blessing. Then go over to the SF waterfront--decorated boat parade begins near south tower of GG Bridge I think--proceeds along SF waterfront towards Ferry Building.
I'll try to find and post link to article with more info....
