I have a MT 43 1988 trade winds . Port and SB saddletanks have dipsticks that I can access from the salon floor. They have numbers on them 0-12. Does anyone know what they mean? Port tank holds185 gallons,
SB holds 140 gallons. Main tank understates in aft cabin holds195. Thanks

There should be a piece of paper stuck somewhere with a table linking the number to a gallon number. Look inside doors etc.

I found one for the main tank but not the saddle tanks. Have looked in every nook and cranny and every piece of paper that came with the boat

I found one (table) for the main tank but not the saddle tanks.
Even though the tanks have different capacities, that table might apply to all.

If the tanks are plain old rectangular boxes, some simple math should figure it out. Odd shapes; kick the math up a notch.

Barring that, you can always check each stick before and after adding fuel, then do the simple math method. That should at least tell you gallons per mark on the stick.

Keep in mind though, "0" won't be the bottom and "12" likely not the top.

Do the tanks have the same footprint with one just being taller than the other?

From what I can tell that appears to be correct

Then that piece of paper will work for all of them.
