I picked this up at an auction real cheap.

*I was told it is a barge motor.

It has a tiller and is spring loaded to forward Gas motor with a magnito.

*You have to advance or retard the spark.

It has never been started

brand new but slightly disassembled

I can't seem to find out anything about it anybody ever seen one?

The main shaft is a steel pipe with a brass sleve the sleeve is split.

I think that is why it was taken apart.

I think I found some info on my outboard.

Designed in 1936 by Volvo of Sweden and produced until 1976.

Sort of a.**If it works don't fix it.

Not really imported to the U.S.

Some were sold in Louisiana. To move house boats around.

Same as they were used for in Sweden. I guess a lot of floating houses in the Fjords over there.

Still haven't found out how to put it back together.

Can't find a way to contact anyone in Sweden. Language is the big bump in the road.

The last two are old engine sites I've run across. Maybe try there also.

Have fun, neat old engine

Thanks for that.

I would like to get it running.

I don't really have a use for it.

It intrigues me.

Yeah, you need toys that you can just play with even if you don't expect to use it. SOme of these old engine were really quite well and interestingly built.
Have fun.
