Anybody ever replaced a throttle control box for an outboard?

I have a skiff with a 2007 115 hp Etech, binnacle mount throttle, single lever, dual control with trim and tilt. The frame of the old control box has rusted badly and the plastic box itself is broken.

The Bombardier part is quite expensive, so I'm considering going with an after market option like this:

Teleflex Osprey 7600 Series Single Top Mount Control

or like this :

Teleflex Morse - Twin Mount 3 Top Mount Dual Function Lever, MT-3

I like the looks of the morse controls better, but I'd have to mount the trim/tilt switch remotely and it's not clear if my cables would match it.

My existing cables seem to be in good shape. From what I can tell, the toughest part is getting the cables to match the controls.

Anyone have any advice? Is this a DIY job? Is there a lot of adjustment after install to get the idle and WOT set correctly?

I'm on board.
I have a 60hp Suzuki w a throttle/gear control I hate. Much to sticky at low speeds. And too little lever movement per throttle change. Very hard to control. Love the engine but the control sucks. So I'm interested in what comes up here.
