Saw this at the boat show. They are coming out with another model soon, larger than the one in the video, looks interesting.

This looks like the torqueedo smallest version but is about $500 cheaper and made in the US.

I think I would be concerned with the power cord connections. Looks like a pinned connection and those are famous for bending the pins if you don't use caution to align the keyway first before you push. Get someone who pushes and twists it until it plugs in will break or bend the pins.

$1200 for a 1hp motor. Compare that to a trolling motor and a $90 battery and box.
