Willard Size: W40 vs W30

In the Willard 50 thread/topic it was mentioned by ManyBoats - Eric:

"The 40' Willard looks huge next to my 30' .... and so does the earlier built W36."

I thought that a picture would visualize the significant size difference between the Willard 40 vs Willard 30.

Attached is a photo taken of our W30 Voyager rafted to a W40 FB Sedan.

Interestingly they both take the same amount of power to make 7 knots .... hull speed for the W30. WLL is golden for FD craft.

You have piqued my quriosity. What is that hp number/gph?

That one that Larry posted is indeed nice.
These boats were built in the 60's so a lot of them are rough.
 
36 and 40 on the hard

On the hard in Ballard last week. One rough 1963 36 Motorsailer, one fine 1991 40FBS
