Just got back from the local DD dealer (ft Myers FL) and he has boxes of new Leece Neville 160 A 12V alts for about $160 each.
These are for external v regulators so a marine v regulator unit would be a snap to install.
YES they are BIG , but if you need 160a hot rating .......Reliability is worth the cost of a new bracket!
I assume every DD dealership and most big truck parts shops will have similar pricing..
