Ideal foot switch rubber leaves black marks on deck... solution ?

The way mine are now, there will be black marks on deck from the bottom of my shoe after pushing the anchor deck switches.

I suppose new standard issue black rubber switch covers would help a lot but wonder if they make them in white ? Or does it take years for the standard black covers to deteriorate to the point of leaving residue on a shoe bottom ?
 
My Ideal switches had to be 20 years old at least and never did that. Call Ideal, they may have a cure or switch them out for you. Somebody may have got something bad on them for some reason
 
Replaced my Ideal switch covers while doing the paint job. The old ones were perfectly fine but figured since I had to remove them for the paint job, I might as well replace them now and never have to do it again. Big Bonus, The new ones are white and may not be rubber, not sure. :thumb:
