Crabber Snags AUV in Chesapeake Bay


This guy sees this thing floating in the bay and tows or carries it home to have a closer look at it. Pretty cool technology.

Check your hulls for yellow marks!

A tour of the facility? What? No reward? I suspect the waterman would appreciate the cash more than the PR tour.
 
Helped launch a few of those for different orgs....

They usually prefer you leave them alone and not disturb the research...

But in the Chessie Bay, hard to think it wouldn't be disturbed sooner or later.
