We christened the Carquinez Coot today.* Folks from K dock and some of my relatives (my father, who instroduced me to sailing in the 1960s, is wearing the white-with-red-stripe blazer).* The event went quite well.

Sorry we missed your party, Mark. But we did pull off the marriage of our daughter! As important as the wedding was, I did give you a thought today. I'm planning to take a group of relatives (stragglers from the wedding) out for a day cruise on Monday. Maybe I'll see you at K-dock.
