Two unusual anchors

image.jpgThe first unusual anchor is a Northill .. not the brand but the type. Some would call it a knock-off but I'd say it's more like a rendition. The stock and shank are made of square tubing .. unusual. The most unusual thing about it IMO is the fluke tips. Not sure if they'd work any better than the usual simple pointed tip.

The second is a Danforth style w wheel like things on the extremely shortened stock. Sorry the pics not good but didn't want to take the thing off for the pics. I thought the round things were wheels at first but the're welded to the stock. The stock is the rods that stick out the sides of Danforth's and some other older anchors.
