Simrad IS15 Wind Transducer

In the UK, Simrad is out of stock and likely to stay that way for a few months.

Anyone know if I can buy one in the USA?

Why not ask Simrad. They surely will know what their US suppliers have. Chuck

Hi Chuck,

I am advised that when the recession hit Simrad ran stock down as did many component manufacturers. Now demand has risen again some component parts are scarce so production has ground to a halt.

Simrad has a large backlog of orders but cannot yet fulfil them. They have (apparently) been saying 2 to 3 months for ages.

Hence my hunting around....

I know I hate Fleabay but often you can find these things there when someone has parts they don't need any more/

All searches so far show zero stock and zero 'up for sale' anywhere. Blow! Maybe it's time for a full change of kit...

Thanks for this. In the meantime I created such a noise about this that Simrad came up with a solution. Bit complex but it's been fitted and I just need to check it's working.

If not, I'll be back to ask if youn still have yours.
