Quoting a small portion of a post

Hey Janet,
Is there a way to quote one or two lines of a post using the old app (which I prefer)? Here is a screen shot of the app I use.

Not sure what you're getting at Fork, I use the same app exclusively and quote one or two lines all the time.

Tap quote post

Edit the quoted post as desired. Cut, snip, etc.

A late comeback on this, but it would be nice if more folk took the few seconds it takes to only quote, (by deleting what is not relevant from the quoted post) the relevant section of the quoted post, instead of just re-quoting the whole post every time, sometimes only adding one short sentence in reply. Just sayin'...
