Raritan manual head

My manual Raritan head suddenly refuses to pump out the bowl which is now nearly full. Any easy cures or suggestion to fix this ? Thanks

I assume that water comes in ok.
The first thing to check is if the holding tank is full.
Next make sure the holding tank vent is clear.
Next start looking for a blockage in the hose between the toilet and tank, often occur in the discharge elbow of the toilet.
Hope it's a full tank or blocked vent. The other options get messy.

Thanks. No holding tank, just straight out and straight in.

Open the seacock?
Start looking for blockages.
This will not be fun.

You can empty the bowl with a wet vac.

Vic Willman was the tech support manager at Raritan...he was with them for over 40 years till he retired a couple of years ago and had forgotten more about everything they ever made than anyone else will ever learn. If your PH II is more than a few years old, this from him in answer to someone with a similar problem a few years back may be the answer:

In the Dry Flush position (only), the little square plug on the very front of the pump--the air valve--has a check valve inside that opens on the downstroke of the piston to allow a little air to come into the (unused) top half of the pump cylinder - to stop the "vacuum kick." If this check valve doesn't open to allow air into the top half of the pump cylinder, you have a vacuum in there, and the handle becomes very difficult to pump and wants to jump back and smack you in the snoot.

Cure: have him straighten a paper clip and poke the wire into
the hole at the front of the square air valve (1203W). The little
poppet inside is stuck. Once he pushes it loose, he's back in
business. It is spring-loaded and he should feel it move in and
out when he presses the wire in there.

If that doesn't cure your problem, the most likely causes are sea water mineral buildup in the head discharge line that's reduced the diameter to zilch or a blockage in the line. You said you don't have a holding tank, so that would tend to rule out a blocked tank vent.
