With all the recent thread creep about definitions and things, I thought maybe we could use an outlet for the less linguistically flexible among us.

Per'sonally, I find it really irritating when people don't know how to u'se apo'strophe's. I al'so find it off-putting when people use 'no' instead of 'know.' Then there's the whole 'there, their or they're' debacle. I just don't have the energy for that.

By the way, if I start typing 'Irrega' on my phone, irregardless comes up as a suggestion.

I'm also slightly annoyed with the period I put in the title of this thread. Don't know why. Probably because I'm a ridiculous person.
 
This thread could use a little e e cummings.

I work with engineers. Proper orthography is generally not one of their better attributes.
