Greetings!

Thanks Fly Wright for sending me this link. We have had our boat for 5 weeks, and started with an 8 day 'fast' trip around Michigan from Sandusky to Muskegon. Fell in love with her. Comfy, safe and seemingly very reliable boat. Our first boat over 20ft.
We will follow this forum to learn, and hopefully add value when we can. Will be up at the Raytheon radome finding connection issue this weekend (hopefully)

Really excited to be a part of the whole thing!

Welcome aboard Jim and Lisa. Always nice to hear from new Californian owners.

SL70 Working again!

Thanks To Al,

You suggested popping open the radome to check connections.

when I did, I found that the motor was turning, but the array was not.

Wiped off the 'belt' (lg o-ring) and used my wife's emery board on the well polished motor pulley.

Works like new.

Are you related to MacGyver?
Gotta love it when it is an easy fix!

Glad it's working now, Jim. I think it's Ben/tego who deserves your thanks!

Now I'm wondering if that belt is a maintenance item or maybe there's an adjustment for tightness. I've got the same model, but have never had a problem and never opened the dome.

Either way, glad it's working again!
