Trawlerfest last month in Riviera Beach, FL

My husband and I had a great time attending our first Trawlerfest. We learned a lot from the courses, met a lot of great people and were able to determine which used trawler we wanted to buy after looking at a lot of wonderful boats. The hotel the Trawlerfest booked was great too. I also learned about the kind of full time liveabord insurance policy to shop for. We hope to attend the next one in June, in Connecticut I think. Now for the hard part: selling the house, decluttering,etc. Hoping to be aboard in June. In Maine we are facing the third huge snow storm since returning in the nick of time from the Trawlerfest. Thanks Trawlerfest for a fabulous time and to all there who gave us such great advice and good times.

Did you settle on a boat, sell the house, etc etc? June is upon us.

Alas, we are still waiting for the real estate to sell. Happily the market is really improving and we are getting showings.
We will drive to the Essex Trawlerfest - we can't wait! In the meantime we are enjoying "window shopping" for boats.
