Hi Crew-
Gotta replace the front deck hatch.
The closest hatch I can find calls for a 20 3/16" cut-out. My existing cut-out is 20 1/2".
Do I need something a little tighter and where would I find it?
Thanks a lot for your time.

Sounds perfect. Just bed with sealant.
Less than 3/16ths per side difference. You are overthinking this!

Greetings,
Mr. E. Sounds like it definitely will fit in the opening but the deciding factor will be how much the mounting flange on the new port overlaps the old opening. I'm sure there must be a minimum distance one doesn't want to exceed.

Will the fastnings of the new hatch see deck or air?

If its deck you are fine , use a sealant , like Dolphinite , not a glue like 5200.

IF the hatch is fairly new it may be built to use tape , the fastest , simplest method.
