Petit Old Salem. Nice product.

Nice paint job. Looks good .

Thank you. We did two 32' GB's over the weekend. Ours and our boat buddies. Lots and lots of sanding and prep!

I saw two 32s in the Seaview North yard over the weekend. Perhaps that was you guys? How did you apply the paint?

Based on our experience with Petit inside our boat over the same weekend, I am not impressed at all with their product. We generally use Interlux Brightside. But in your photo, the hull looks very nice.

That was us. Foam rollers and a bit of Penetrol in the paint.

Great looking topsides and paint and prep work.

Know what it takes to do that as your post brings back memories of the 23 odd annual spring preps and paintings of our old woodie.

In some ways we miss the annual prep and paint rites and opportunity to rectify the previous year's dings and blems and make all, as does Spring, look new and fresh again. Well, at our age, we don't miss it that much, not really.

The best compliment on our topside fairing and painting endeavors, which we also considered an insult, was to be asked by a passing boat "is she fiberglass or wood?".

One particular well known East Coast wood boat surveyor of our acquaintance used to jocularly accuse us of using Preparation H on our topside seams as we were so anal about fairness.
