Snow. We had 13 boats sink after getting 4 feet of snow in a day.

The boat cover in post #2 is for rain mostly. That's how many boats "winter over" on SE Alaska. Or to paint and do repairs any time of the year. Very common.

There's a 7 foot hedge under that long hump in the foreground, and that's the second story of our new addition in the background. The grass was green before this all got dumped in less than two days
