After lurking for over a year, I've finally taken the plunge and joined. Don of Moonstruck is a dockmate and has been an inspiration to join. I've been a boater for 25 years and if a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, then I'm real dangerous. The more I'm on the water, the less I feel I know. But forums like this are a great place to gain some knowledge. I'm still a working stiff... Someone has to keep the economy going. But we try to get to the boat 1-2 weekends a month and enjoy the lifestyle.

Welcome aboard. A little knowledge is better than most of us started with.

Good luck.

If you know Don Moon you must be acquainted with his friend :)

Welcome! Don's a great asset to have around the dock. He's forgotten more than most people ever know about trawlers. Of course, since most people don't know much....and Don's forgotten nearly everything he knew, I guess that's not saying a whole lot, is it? Nevermind. ;)

Just goes to show you...you can pick your boat, but you can't pick your boat neighbors!

Welcome intermission. There are some great folks here (including the moon man) and plenty of helpful advice. Glad to have you aboard!

Welcome
