Need help with a job title.

Back over summer I met this lady and spent sometime chatting with her.She was a fuel sampling specialist.She traveled around sampling fuel at various fuel stations.She would pump fuel into very specialized containers,seal them with a one time use top,and ship them back.I'm trying to find more info on these type jobs.Her job was done on a block of time.They would send her the kits via UPS and email her the paper work for each individual station.She would print it off,and seal the info in the box she shipped back with the fuel sample.

What would be some job titles I could search to try and find info on these type jobs?I did fuel sampling and analysis when I was an aviation line service tech.I did this every morning before we opened, on our 100LL avgas tanks and trucks along with the Jet A tanks and trucks.We looked for water,contamination,and dyes.

Siphon Sucker Specialist, (no spitting allowed). Damn that sounds almost as bad as being the junior man to start the siphon on the team that empties holding tanks.

Fuel Quality Assurance Tech, (Specialist? Collector?) Atatollah of Gas, Sheik of Fuel, Duke of Diesel, Earl of Octane, Potentate of Pumpin.

Just a few thoughts.

Doesn't she know? If not I'd call a fuel company, do you know who she was working for

I can't remember if she said the company name and she didn't specify her job title.We mostly discussed being parents and being disabled.

I have a chance to be retrained or possibly sent back to community college to further my education.All of this is happening because of my health status and being on disability.I can't keep up a normal work pace at the previous jobs I have held,nor can I take on the physical stresses.Now,thanks to some knowledgeable individuals that I have been in contact with,I can finally see a future outside my bubble I created.I was hoping to use this job,or job type, as my work to.It's kind of a short term goal to work toward with my profession counselor.My ultimate goal is to be able to work from a boat and not be completely land lock due to work.I feel I just need to find a niche,for the lack of a better term,and go with it.

This is for part of that program I speak of in my second post.I have another appointment with the counselor this coming friday.I'm really hoping I can find a way to make money while staying mobile in a boat or on my motorcycle.
