Empress Yachts: anyone know anything?

Hi all, I have spotted an interesting trawler style semi displacement 47ft boat with twin 3208TA @ 375hp.

"Empress Yachts"

I have googled and googled and come up with nothing on this brand which is strange. This one was built in 1990.

Does anyone know them?

There's at least one Empress for sale in Europe, listed with De Valk. The boat appears very similar to a Tradewinds 47 and a Trans World 47, all built in Taiwan. The Tradewinds was built by the Lien Hwa yard. The Tradewinds, Med, and Marine Trader series were all built under the Marine Trading International umbrella. Often boats from Taiwan were sold under one name in the US, another name in Europe, and something else again in other parts of the world....usually connected with the importer.
