I had a great trip this weekend, went out fishing with a boating buddy on his 43' Mainship Trawler, we towed his 18' Whaler from Houma, LA out the navigation canal to the barrier islands some*35 miles or so and anchored in about 8' of water. The weather was great all weekend, and the fish bit well. We had a mixed bag of Speckled Trout, Redfish, a couple of Spanish Mackrel, Flounder and even a Pompano. We grilled some steaks on the*Magma*the first night, then had Trout and Flounder Menuiere the second, (fish*that slept in the sea the night before) Delicious!
Got back home mid day*Sunday to find my*Father in*Law had mowed my lawn, can you beat that?
