Any info regarding availability of replacement keys. No luck with local
(VA) locksmiths. New owner.

I needed extra keys for my IG 36. I had one original brass one, it`s a (?)mortise type lock, the boatyard lost the spare one. A local locksmith using a stock blank handcut some in steel to match.

Too bad about the condition of the local locksmith situation. If all other avenues strike out find a good local machinist. Any machinist worth his salt can make a copy of your existing key.

I've used my local machinist to reproduce many odd shaped keys in the past.

My Monk is a lightly used 2005 and have owed it for 3 weeks. Now in our slip on the Chesapeake Bay just south of Annapolis at Herrington Harbour North Marina.
