What do you think caused this? It is supposed to be this. I have emails VDO. I am hoping they can just fix it. If not, I have asked if I can order new ones, but have the hours set appropriately.....

There is probably a speedometer shop in the Portland or Seattle area that can repair that. On the east coast, Lauderdale Speedometer is great for that kind of thing, if no luck out west you might try them as they are very familiar with boat issues.

I thought maybe you slopped some Klondike Bars on the lens!

(That's an inside joke for those of you who are shaking your heads!)

Nope. It would appear the inside of the plastic lens is delaminating...

I've seen similar issues like that. Never really sure why one gauge will do it and the others stay fine. Time for a new lens. As others have mentioned contact a local speedo shop or VDO.

Thanks everyone! Mike I have some bars for you if you want to bring that boat west to the green side of the mountains

I would try drilling a top and bottom hole with a 1/16 drill to let the water vapor out.

IF its inside.

Thanks FF, but that was already done. VDO isn't very good at getting back to you when you send them a question.
