Those are very long snouts! Good thing they're friendly and don't have external teeth.
Which pilot did you use to bring you into HI?
Me, myself & I. We came in on low tide (not purposely, just worked out like that) to top it off. It was pretty simple and straight forward, defeinetly couldn't of done it w/o the FB tho. We never touched bottom once.
FB?Is that flat bottom abbreviated? Maybe flybridge?
Yeah it can be straight forward and simple on a good day.
And a FB makes a big difference. It very nice to be able to look down and out into the water when poking your way in between and around reefs and shoals that's for sure.
A nice spot for lunch on HI is the Blue Bar at Pink Sands.
If you want to do something off HI, you can take your tender over to Bottom Harbour to the S/SE across the bay there on Eleuthera to the Bottom Harbour Club. Look for the little dock coming off the beach. They usually have good local food, drinks and live music some weekends. The beach is nice to. And you pretty much always see turtles feeding in the grass flats there.
Thanks I'll check it out. We're going take the dink up to Spanish wells today and see what's to be seen.
Yes, FB = flybridge.
