Northern Lights Gen Set

I have a 2002 model NL 753k3 serial number 7532-29453C installed in a 1986 Marine Trader trawler. The gen set has a shorted winding and needs the back end replaced. Otherwise the gen set is good with 550 hours on it. The boat will be in Jekyll Island Georgia for an extended time.

Can you suggest a company to help me with this?

Can they sell /exchange the "Back End" and I can have local tech replace it or ?

What are our options?

Have you tried contacting NL or your local NL dealer to see if they have a recommended shop for that kind of work in the area?

Contact Broward Armature in ft lauderdale. The can rewind yours, or may even have an exchage on the shelf. A decent mechanic can swap ends without much trouble.

I second the Broward Armature recommendation. They are not local to you but they are good at what they do.
