Why Didn't I Think Of This Before Depratment

It always bugged me to have to leave the boat to shut off the city water before moving the hose, such as for washing or filling the tank. Wandering through the garden section of Lowes, I saw this plastic shut off valve made just for hoses. Less than $5.00. My my, how convenient now to move the hose around. The simple pleasures are the best.

Mr. B. Cheap and simple is good. I have been using quick connects and "Y's" with shut offs on several of the hose bibs on board.
All hoses and nozzles are equipped.

Keep looking in the box stores , one great item can be found in the washing machine section.

It is a blow out sensor that is placed inside ,after the pressure regulator ,so if a feed line pops the water will automatically be shut off.

Using a faucet , taking a shower or running the dish washer or washing machine is fine , but a blowout is shut down almost instantly.

Cheap insurance in plastic.
