Hi, thought I would try my hand at loading photos and post some of my favorites. I took these from the heights above Cochem, Germany and illustrate a boat handling skill that seems impossible.

I didn't take this (wish I had) but it my new favorite. It is the ore carrier Edgar B. Speer entering the Sturgeon Bay ship canal this January for winter lay up.

Is the C&H plant still under the bridge in Crockett? Been a long time since I've been home.

Well, if not directly under, very close, nearby.

Yup...it's still there and going strong. Just did a slow fly-by (upstream and against the current) past it a couple of weeks ago. It's much more interesting up close than at a distance.

Here's another angle, but that damn sailboat got in the way!!

From this angle it looks like it's under the bridge.

Following are a couple of my most-recent and favorite pictures:

She arrived at 11:48 PM on the 23rd. Harper Jayne weighed almost 18 pounds, measured three and a half feet, has an IQ of 843. She can sing the national anthem in ancient Latin -backwards-. She already saved four trees, a whale, two walruses and an endangered pygmy goat!

This is a photo I took of Meander during last falls trip through Canada's Heritage Canals. It found its way to the "centerfold" of January's Power and Motoryacht magazine.
