I don't think it's that old we think it's about 1970 - 1971. The only wires going to it are the AC power from the gen end and 2 wires from the key start switch, 1-to starter relay and 1-to the fuel on/off solenoid and the +&- from the battery. That is all that's involved, it has no coolant or oil pressure sending units mounted anywhere, it's old school but I don't think it's dark ages.
