Great pictures. Don't ya just hate boating on rough waters like that!

Thanks for sharing them.

Hey that's not trawling speeds! ;):p:hide:

Oh, man. My plan to do the Down East loop is still 2 years off. Hope it's like that when I come that way! You're making my mouth water!

The seas were like that last time we did the crossing from Yarmouth, NS to Northeast Harbor, ME. 100 NM and the only thing bigger than a ripple was when a pod of whales came by.

At the west end of Karheen Passage on the east side of Sea Otter Sound Prince of Wales Island Alaska on a not too stormy day.

Alamao and Ben are tied for first place.:thumb::D

Oliver, as a lookout for corral heads in the Bahamas, you should be looking ahead.:D
Whoops! ;) I believe we weren't making headway when this picture was taken. It's amazing you could see the coral heads miles way it was so clear.:)

That is going to be one big, beautiful and fast boat. Love the picture.

On the road in BC near Smithers.

Nice job Ski

What boat is that? Looks like a Glen-L project, is it?

Portuguese

That's actually the one in my avatar. In service, ready to go.

It's my design, a hybrid of Carolina bottom (numbers stolen from other Carolina builders). Shearline typical of Downeast. Turtleback and house sort of a Carolina/Downeast hybrid.

Great work, Ski. Did you strip plank or plywood the hull sides? That is a slick bottom. Any keel? What power?

Here is another of my favorite pictures. This is our Pilot 34 in 2004 tied up in Annapolis harbor. Annapolis is always an exciting place to visit by boat.

TRUE NOIRTH, the Shearwater Yawl in which we cruised all over N America for 18 years prior to trading for our Albin-25.

One of my favorites from Chandeleurs. Not my boat or hb but provides lots of motivation.
