For a liveaboard snow is GOOD.
First it is excellent insulation , both heat and noise.
Second after a couple of days you can observe the melt pattern from heating the boat and see where the lousy insulation areas are.
My first multi hull melted all the snow from the cabin top , except on each cabin top rib.
After insulation was suspended between the ribs with trim , the melt pattern reversed.
The rib areas melted and the cabin roof stayed covered with snow.
