One benefit of a substantial mast is that lights can be installed on the spreaders so to light up a substantial area.

+1 Except our stack in this instance. We light up the whole boat deck and what ever is behind us for about 30-40ft.

Were working on that, trying to decide whether to go with a couple more 120v lights or a couple 12v ones.
The expensive and hard to find spot light bulb on my GB was successfully replaced, exact fit , with 9.99 bulb from NAPA auto parts grin!

I was talking about these LED ones, off amazon. Their about 100 bucks and worth every penny.
