What makes you think that?

We have arrived. More to follow, but on the advice of people we know from Nantucket we are calling a funky by the name of Nettles Island home for the next month or possibly two.

The southeast winter view. Being novices at 'doing the ditch' we didn't know what to expect but it was a hugely enjoyable and entertaining trip. Until the end of March it's time to work on our tans and relax. Come late March we'll head across Lake Okeechobee and haul out for the summer.

As I mentioned before we are in a small funky marina called Nettles Island just south of Ft Pierce and east of Jensen Beach. Even though the residents of the large marinas are great people, there is nothing like a small marina.
